Art inspired by nature, reflection, and healing
Fresh off the easel
For Vanessa.
This project began after losing my sister Vanessa to a rare brain cancer. During this difficult time, I turned to painting as a quiet way to process my grief.
Inspired by moments in nature that invite us to slow down and breathe, each piece is created with the hope of bringing calm and reflection into everyday spaces.
Art that gives back
Every day, 27 Canadians hear the words “You have a brain tumour”.
In October 2025, we lost our beloved Vanessa at just 34 years old after a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
Hachey Studio was created in her honour, with the hope of turning something creative into something that gives back. A portion of every piece sold supports the work of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, helping fund research and resources for families facing this devastating disease.
Through art, we hope to contribute in a small way toward a future with better treatments, more support, and more hope.
